Their signature event, Second Mondays, is an open mic for an array of Black art and ethereal communion.

Mission
A career in the arts becomes more and more possible when that artist has a strong network of resources and contemporaries. Gold Beams has curated Oakstop Alliance-provided spaces to give artists spaces to create, gather, collaborate and grow. We have no doubt the talented creators sharing time at Tayleur’s events will spark Oakland’s next cultural revolutionOakstop Alliance recognized the incredible safe space that Tayleur was creating for the young creative professionals of Oakland. We formalized a presenting partnership in 2021 to support Gold Beams in the curation of their four event series that are aligned with the Oakstop Alliance mission to provide economic, arts and cultural opportunities to marginalized and underrepresented communities. Oakstop Alliance hosts more than 25 Gold Beams events per year: subsidizing venue fees, funding production costs and providing mentorship to help Tayleur grow her phenomenal brand.
